Magog Mint Julep with Marco Spruce Beer

Le Julep Menthe de Magog avec la bière d’épinette Marco

10 mint leaves, plus a few for garnish
1½ tsp superfine sugar
Marco spruce beer
Crushed ice
2½ oz American whiskey

Place mint leaves in the bottom of a whiskey glass and add sugar. Muddle until the leaves begin to break down. Add a splash of Marco spruce beer, fill the glass ¾ with crushed ice, and add the whiskey. Top with a bit more spruce beer, stir, and garnish with a mint sprig. Serve immediately.
